APD Nelson Mandela Bay was established in 1940 and has a proven track record of good governance and financial accountability. All financial transactions are handled by the organisation’s accounts department and reflect in the accounting systems and financial reports. The various projects (including Wheelchair Wednesday) are accurately recorded in APD’s financial statements and are audited annually.

African Bombers

The African Bombers Rugby Club was established in 1954 and has a membership of about 200. The club has recently been promoted to the Grand Challenge League of the EPRU.

Based in Port Elizabeth, the club boast junior and senior ladies and gents teams that compete regionally and locally in various rugby divisions.

BLC Attorneys is a proud sponsor of this Rugby Club that seeks to provide constructive recreational and talent grooming for young men and women in the townships.

Eastern Cape Boccia

The firm has sponsored the EC Boccia team for a number of years. Boccia is a Paralympic sport played by disabled wheelchair users in an indoor court.

The team has established itself as the dominant team at the National championship level having been awarded the overall Boccia trophy for the past 3 years.

This Mandela day we committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of the grade 1 learners at Missionvale Primary School .

Our staff committed hours of their time to painting two classrooms,and creating a more child friendly learning environment for the learners.

BLC Attorneys Raises Funds for Northern Lights School

Northern Lights School in Cotswold was a beneficiary of the annual BLC Attorneys Charity Soccer Day. BLC Attorneys provided Grade 9 learner, Yamkelo Rapiya, with a Boccia ramp, which will allow him to participate in the Nedbank National Championship for the Physically Disabled in March.
